What the beta request collects

If you request beta access, the form can collect:

  • your name and email address;
  • an optional phone number;
  • an optional business or trading name;
  • your type of work or business activity;
  • your business structure, such as sole trader / self-employed, limited company, partnership or LLP;
  • how you currently keep records;
  • your current accountant-support position;
  • the record-keeping areas you want to organise;
  • an optional message; and
  • technical anti-abuse information used to help detect automated form submissions.

Please do not submit UTRs, National Insurance numbers, bank details, passwords, receipts or tax documents through the website beta form.

Why we use the information

Beta-request details are used to assess the request, understand your record-keeping context and respond about beta access. The form asks for your agreement before those details are submitted for this purpose.

You can withdraw that agreement for future processing by emailing founder@trenic.co.uk. Withdrawal does not change processing that was lawful before it was withdrawn.

Technical request and anti-abuse information can also be used where necessary to operate and protect the website and form, including preventing misuse and investigating delivery or security problems.

The beta-request form does not make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Service providers and international processing

The website uses Vercel for hosting and delivery. When the beta-request service is configured, Resend is used to deliver the request email. These providers process information needed to provide their part of the service.

Some service-provider processing can take place outside the United Kingdom. Where a restricted international transfer requires safeguards, TRENIC uses a transfer mechanism permitted by UK data-protection law. You can contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.

How long we keep beta-request information

We keep identifiable beta-request information while the request is being assessed and while there is an active beta-related conversation or access relationship. When that information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete or anonymise it unless a longer period is reasonably needed for legal obligations, dispute handling or security records.

We do not keep beta-request information indefinitely simply in case it becomes useful later.

Your data-protection rights

Depending on the circumstances and the legal basis used for the processing, you can have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or other action. You can also have a right to object to some processing and a right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

We may need enough information to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing personal data, but we will not ask for more than is reasonably needed for that purpose.

Privacy, deletion and complaints

Email founder@trenic.co.uk and state whether your message concerns privacy, deletion, a data-rights request or a complaint.
